Dr. Stephanie Briggs

Stephanie Briggs, DDS is the founder and lead dentist of our practice, which she established in 2004. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1999 and her Doctor of Dental Surgery from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 2003.

Dr. Briggs was inspired by her father, a civil engineer, who encouraged her to start her own practice just one year after completing dental school. He even did the engineering work for her office build-out, one of his last projects before he passed away from cancer shortly after the practice opened. Shortly after opening her practice, a patient set her up on a blind date with her now-husband.

Dr. Briggs values the opportunity to build long-term relationships with her patients. Many of her patients have grown up with the practice and now bring their own children for care. She believes dentistry offers a unique opportunity to form meaningful connections with patients and their families, celebrating their joys and supporting them through challenges while caring for their smiles.

Outside of work, Dr. Briggs enjoys spending time with her husband, their two young sons, and their two giant dogs. Recently, their family expanded when they rescued and bottle-fed two abandoned kittens. She is also a beekeeper and an avid gardener, with a passion for harvesting and canning her home-grown vegetables.
